Erin E. Thompson
Corporate Counsel
As Corporate Counsel for Inner Circle, Ms. Thompson serves as the company guardian and is devoted to helping Inner Circle comply with all laws, protect its assets, and minimize risk. Her responsibilities involve reactive legal services, such as responding to a specific legal matter, as well as proactive legal services such as developing compliance programs, policies, and guidelines. In addition to transactional duties, Ms. Thompson is charged with the initiation and management of collection and contract dispute actions as well as the defense of public liability actions.
Ms. Thompson’s legal experience originates from the role of consultant for Winn-Dixie Stores, one of the nation’s largest food retailers. In this role, Ms. Thompson specifically contributed to the real estate reorganization and restructure efforts afforded by the Chapter 11 process. Ms. Thompson additionally benefits from previous experience as a Federal Bankruptcy Court Intern and an Assistant State Attorney.
Ms. Thompson achieved a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. She is currently admitted to practice in the Florida Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association for the United States District Court of Florida, Middle District.
